In the market town of Cupar, Fife, Scotland - there is a divine little cafe called Coffee and Kilts.
The owner, Sean Elder, bakes the most amazing cakes, which I've always thought were a work of art. One day, we took home a slice of mate cake (green tea cake). It was so beautiful that I took a photo of it, before hubby ate it - and in my own humble way, tried to produce a second work of art.

If you are ever in the vicinity of Cupar, take a trip down Lady Wynd to Coffee and Kilts - and treat your tastebuds.
Sean also serves gluten free food - and the cafe has a dog friendly zone, in case your best friend is with you!
