I have created a new painting using one of her photos.
This one:
Champagne and Strawberries.
In other news, Missy has recovered from her limp, the vet thinks she has arthritis. She has to have painkillers and omegas to help the condition - though she still jumps around like a puppy! She'll be 15 years old soon, so she's doing well for her age.
and I am still working on the novel. It needs to be 100k words and I am up to 40k. I'm hoping to have the first draft finished by the end of Feb next year.
Great paintings, Pat! I love the second one, interesting composition! Good to hear Missy is better, hope the medication helps!
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job with Debs reference picture. Glad Missy is okay, she is such a sweet girl, give her a hug from me.
ReplyDeleteHi, Pat,
ReplyDeleteThe first work is a masterpiece! So beautiful! But I'm worried about Missy. I heartily hope she will cope with difficulties. Regarding writing, it's quite a demanding work. Me, too, work on the project. Pat, hang in there. Take your time and let us make it happen!!
Best wishes, Sadami
What a lovely painting! A nice sunny feel on this horrible, wet, windy Monday!
ReplyDeleteHope Missy gets better soon :0)

ReplyDeleteI like the strawberry still life, with all the reds pulling my eye around in a nice path. I also LOVE the teacup, and way you composed that piece. It's very effective and fun to look at! The cup on the side makes me feel like I'm sitting there at the table. Your dog is sweet... Does she help write the novel? I bet in many ways, she does!
ReplyDeleteEstupendas acuarelas Pat!! Me alegra que Missy esté mejor de salud xx
