The Tulip Field

On this painting, I wanted to be impressionistic, so I used a technique similar to pointillism, but more "dab -illism"

Viewing is best done at a little distance, so sit back from your screens and take in...

  7. Hello Pat:) How about: Pat-illism? Sounds great:) This could be a painting made in Holland in the Keukenhof (google on it!). Every year there grow thousends of tulips. Just as beautiful as in your painting! Beautifully done:)

  15. I LOVE this, Pat! I was driving by a Travel Agency the other day, and the thought that popped into my head was, "I would love to visit Amsterdam to see the tulips!" so cheerful and happy. great work.
