This is my version of Kay's demo.
I had simplified the house from some of the detail - and funnily enough, her cat turned into a dog in my version!
I hope you enjoy it - and if you feel like coming over to Painting Friends, please use the link in the sidebar on the right. You'll be more than welcome.

This is lovely Pat, you certainly have painted whites. I have somehow missed Kay's demo, but will pop back in and find it.
ReplyDeleteHi Pat! The shadows in your paintings are beautiful!
ReplyDeletePat, that's wonderful painting! I really love the violet shades and the dappled shadows. You made them absloutely believable and a feature of the piece, that's very hard to pull off! (at least for me it is) I hope you do more like this!
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely Pat!
ReplyDeleteI once did a still life of all things white - some cotton wool, a bar of soap, a toilet roll.... I was surprised how many different tints there are in whites :0)
Hello Pat:) Dog or cat, your painting is beautiful. The shadows on the house are so well done and your whites stayed white. Perfect! Big hug for Missy:)
ReplyDeleteMuy bien logrados los blancos. ¡Mi enhorabuena!
ReplyDeleteLovely painting, Pat! The shadows on the porch are extraordinary!
ReplyDeleteLovely shadows on the house, Pat! I wonder why you painted a dog??? :)
ReplyDeleteDear Pat - I really think this is beautiful. Wish I had a bit more time because I certainly would enjoy being a part of painting with a group. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteThis turned out beautifully, Pat...I'm in love with the bright colors you've used with this white building. Knew you'd put a doggy on that porch.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful painting Pat. The shadows are really beautiful. Ciao!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great project and you've done a great job of it. Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteFabulous work on this Pat. Whites are always hard to do. Took a peek at your website too. Beautifully laid out. Good Luck with that.
ReplyDeleteWonderful, Pat! Love the colors, how the purples give the illusion of depth. Going to check out your gallery now!
ReplyDeleteThat's quite wonderful, Pat! I love the texture of the siding and the shadows! And of course the little dog.
