I quickly sketched the pattern and returned to the sketch later to make this painting.
I didn't want to paint the picture in shadow colours, so instead I took the bright, cheerful and uplifting reds, oranges and yellows.
I hope you enjoy it.

Wow, beautiful and interesting pattern and colours, Pat! At first sight it looks an abstract but I can see the Olympic flames in it!
ReplyDeleteHello Pat
ReplyDeleteI love it. The colors are bright and yet warm. The lines, abstract but clear. It's wonderful.

ReplyDeletePat - how creative you are - I love the colors you chose as well as the abstract composition. You inspired me to think a bit more out of the box. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHi Pat,
ReplyDeleteI love your abstract.. It is a very happy painting. When I first saw it, it reminded me of birds sitting in a row.
I have only painted one abstract in all my years of painting..
Thank you so much for your comment on my horse painting.. I really appreciate it.
fondly,
Penny
