Missy's Fish on Friday

Missy had been begging for some of our cheese scones, so I decided to make her some of her very own treats.
These are salmon fish balls, because you know, omega oils are good for you!

How long before they're ready?
There they are, ready!
What do you mean, they have to cool off?
While I wait, look at mummy's flowers!
They were a gift, you know!
Pretty, aren't they?
Now I have to say, the fish balls were as much of a hit with Missy, as the flowers were with me :)

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

  9. Thanks, everyone :)
I like to think Missy's more "well cared for" than spoiled

Yes, the flowers will be painted at some point. Got a few others lined up first!

Christiane, here you go with recipe:
400gm wholemeal flour, 80gm butter or spread, 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil, 200gm canned red salmon, 200 ml warm milk. Pop all the ingredients but the milk in the food processor. When they're mixed in, slowly add some milk and pulse. Keep adding and pulsing a little at a time until you get a dough ball. Take it out, pop on a floured board and pull off smaller ball size pieces.
Cook on a tray at 225C for about 10 mins or til golden brown. Because ingredients are all human grade, you could eat them too!
