P1, this painting needs a name!

Sometimes you create something different in art, just because you want to be different.

This watercolour and ink is one of those. Different.
Also, I struggled to think of a name for this painting, so all suggestions gratefully received! Until then, P1 (for primate) will do.

P1
the painting is on St Cuthbert's Mill Saunders Waterford Paper - and is 8x11" in size.

    1. There is a certain wistful quality in his demeanour, as if he was dreaming of far away forests. Maybe he was, because this was a zoo photo.

  3. What a grand drawing Pat...love the way you accented his eyes with the blue strip. Always enjoy seeing your art friend. Take care and have a simply delightful day. Hugs!

    1. I could see why you'd think so, but not specifically. The photo was from a zoo.

  5. It is a great portrait, Pat! Don't ask me for a name, I am terrible at names.

    1. Glad you liked him, Judy. Usually I'm okay with names, but fancied a bit of input.
I had a suggestion from a friend to call him Evolution - which made me think of evolving the painting in a few different ways, so now there'll be a series! xx
