Oh, Pat! I love it!!! You really captured the wisdom and movement and awe with which we all seem to hold these magnificent creatures! I love how he fills the canvas too. Because you know, when we are blessed to see an owl in flight everything else fades into the background and it is only the owl we see. Really really fabulous! Blessings! Ann
Thanks, everyone. His eyes are indeed rather intense - he had just spotted his prey and was focussed on it. I can't remember which type of owl he was, but he did have the most gorgeous orange eyes!
What a lovely owl. Seems straight out of Harry Potter books. The way the background and eyes are done is fantastic.
