It was a portrait of my friend, Lynne and her dog, Ben.
Today I show you the other half of the portrait, which features Stuart and Ben.
I'm going to frame these two pencil drawings and give them to Lynne and Stuart as their wedding present.
Eminently fitting for Manifestly, Love and Love, Actually.

ReplyDeleteVery good portrait! It's full of love...Arianna
ReplyDeleteFabulous pencil drawing with a very nice mix of tones, Pat. The two drawings together will make a lovely wedding present to your friends too.
ReplyDeletePat back again today for another look :-) Today I notice more about Ben's expression on the drawing with Stuart, He has that slight tilt to his head that he does wghen you start any conversation with "Do you want a......" and the detail around his muzzle is fantastic. You have also captured Stuarts smile he has the best smile ever (except for Ben's!) but when you ask Stuart to smile on cue he does that sort of half smile that you have captured so well. Oh just fantastic and beautiful. Am still chuffed to bits ♥ xx
ReplyDeleteWhat a brilliant wedding present, I'm sure they will be delighted.
ReplyDeleteThis is SO cute! And I think you have captured his shiney coat beautifully :0)
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful pencil drawing and such detail...very clever of you.
ReplyDeleteCan I just say that Love Actually and Manifestly love arrived in the post today and they are fabulous they are even better in real life the detail is amazing and it made me smile a proper big beaming smile and warmth fill my heart. Not only warmth for what they represent but warmth for the wonderful friendship I am lucky to have in Pat. Thanks so much Pat xxxxx
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lynne - somehow the computer dulls them - so they are always better in real life, So glad you love them so. I cherish our friendship too xx
