A glorious tongue and a very interesting shape, one I enjoyed making come alive.
You can really feel the character in this darling little dog, now.
Next I'll be painting the fur and shadows and you'll see Kindly in all her glory.

(a journey with watercolour and my dog)
She's going to be lovely Pat.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Beryl xx
ReplyDeleteOh, the tongue, Kindly's trademark pose! Her lack of teeth meant that her tongue was always out. I like to think that it added to her charms :)
ReplyDeleteoh Liz, it does add to her charm. Usually the eyes give me the character, but once I had Kindly's tongue painted, I could feel her lovely personality!
