Flower painting II

Here's stage two of the flower painting..

Before I put the background washes on, I masked around the edge of the flowers, their stems and the butterfly.

This was so I could wet the rest of the page and not have any colours run into these parts .

    The background washes were photographed whilst still wet, so they do fade a bit more even, once they dry :)
