Now all the computer work is done, its time to get back to painting!
Here's my latest effort:
Breakfast on the Patio
Now that this is done, my brain is turning towards the next in my alphabet series, which is going to be an X ! That should be interesting - and I can promise it won't be a xylophone or an x-ray :)
Hi, Pat,
ReplyDeleteI love this work! So beautiful!! Congrats. OK, look forward to the X.
Cheers, Sadami
Buenos días Pat. Ha sido un esfuerzo con un gran resultado. La acuarela es preciosa. Me gusta tu sentido del humor! Un abrazo.
ReplyDeleteGreat breakfast, Pat! Crystal and a silver spoon on the patio...?? Can't wait to see what the X will be!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Sadami. Glad you like it xx
ReplyDeleteThank you, Sonia. I'm quite pleased with it :) xx
Thanks, Judy. Actually, yes, I do use my precious things daily. My old aunties would be aghast as they saved everything "for best" For me its a good day every day and one I'm thankful to be here, so today is a "best" day!
Doh! I was going to say X-ray! Love your painting today Pat.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great painting! You paint glass and metal very well :0)
ReplyDeleteHmm... Something beginning with X? I am sure there is a flower that begins with x, but I can't think of it's name. That's my official guess anyway - a flower :0)
Very nice Pat, the crystal, and silver? what a pretty setting and so well done.. I'm coming for breakfast. BJ
ReplyDeleteAWESOME..
ReplyDeletePat, this is beautiful!!! And I am dying to know what the "X" is going to be. :)
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous Pat, you really know how to rock those transparencies !
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and perfect reflections! Arianna
ReplyDeleteBuen trabajo, muy logrados los efectos del cristal y el metal, me gusta.
ReplyDeleteSaludos
that's really pretty and breakfast on the patio sounds wonderful.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what your x painting will be
Great painting, Pat! I agree with you, everyday deserves us to use our 'best'. What's the point of saving things when you could have had the pleasure of using them all along?
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely painting Pat. Whatever you decide to do for your next alphabet painting it's bound to be Xciting, Xquisite and Xcellent, as always. ;-)
ReplyDeleteHi Ann, no, not an x-ray :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Sandra, for the comment on the painting, but no, X is not a flower either!
Thanks BJ, you're welcome to breakfast anytime - and the crystal and silver will be out for you :)
Thanks, Prabal xx
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kathryn.. not long to wait now.. :) xx
Thank you Jane. I've followed some instruction from Mollie Jones,(painting friend) the Queen of crystal and silver - and from Joyce Faulknor's dvd too. Both have helped me immensely xx
Thanks, Arianna. xx
ReplyDeleteThank you, Juan xx
thanks, Ann. Later this week the X painting will be ready, so not long to wait :) xx
Thanks Robin. That's exactly what I used to say to my aunties. They never got it, preferring to put them behind glass doors "for best" :(
hahahahaha John! Your faith in my abilities is a real compliment. Hope I can live up to that build up :) xx
can't wait to see your "X" painting...
