As the painting emerged, it was clear to me that what I was painting was not the image of the girl snow queen I had in mind.
This girl looks far more determined, with definite plans about where she's going and why!

ReplyDeleteShe definitely has a sense of purpose and determination about her. I like the story this tells! I like the way she's framed by the thick trees on both sides, and her coat matchs them, but the red hat and fur hood hold our eye on her, as well as the footsteps. This is a wonderful piece!
