The technique I used was Pointillism... it takes probably three times as long to complete as my usual style, but its very calming to do. The first is a close up and the second from a distance - as you would view if he was on the wall.

Pointilism surely requires a lot of patience. You did a good job on this.

ReplyDeleteInitially when I started watercoloring , I was always using pointilism , probably thinking this was the only way to do, now of course I know it is one of the many , it is very interesting, but also very slow. Your painting is great and the little dog is just so charming .
