That's what my mummy said.. time to loosen up!
I'm trying to think what she means...
when suddenly she starts flicking paint all over the show!
What's that about, hey?
Mummy says she was very tight in the last painting, so she needs an exercise to loosen up - and this is it.
What do I think? I think mummy needs to learn how to loosen up the way we dogs do :)
Don't you agree ? :)

Yes this is good advice for everyone - Missy is clearly a very wise dog - well she looks it in the photo :)
ReplyDeleteHi Pat
ReplyDeleteYes you are right ;-) You have a cute little dog.
The painting of the scale is a wonderful idea. What lies in the pates looks inflamet.
Thanks for the kind holiday wishes. I wish you a beautiful feast of Pentecost.
Elsbeth
LOL, yes Missy. Ik agree with you.
ReplyDeleteShe certainly is - I'm sure we could all learn a lot on how to relax from dogs :) xx
ReplyDeleteRolling around in the grass certainly is a good way of loosening up but I think your mom also found a good way too. It actually looks like fun to me

ReplyDeleteThanks Elsbeth - she is very cute :)
ReplyDeleteThe contents do look like they are on fire! I found it quite therapeutic to "flick" :)
have a great holiday xx
She's delighted to hear it, Renske!
ReplyDeleteAnn, my way was great fun! But ssh.. don't tell Missy, she might want to try her paw at it!
ReplyDeleteYes Pat, Louie agrees wholeheartedly with Missy about loosening up (as he sleeps on the sofa while I do all the work).
ReplyDeleteArt should be enjoyable and you clearly had a fun time with this. If you fancy doing any big brush painting, I've got a window that needs finishing today :)
ah Michael, you'd never say that if you saw me with a harris paintbrush. I once painted a motorbike of Paul's that he built from scratch.. and all his club friends said they'd never argue with anyone who could paint a bike with brushstrokes
ReplyDeleteYour window would be a talking point forever! teeheehee
Hi, Pat,
ReplyDeleteYes, and relax yourself, too. Please pass my best wishes to cute Missy.
Cheers, Sadami
Thanks, Sadami.
ReplyDeleteWe're all relaxing today.. the weather is atrocious, so the sofa is calling :)
Have a great weekend, my friend :) xx
Hi Pat! This looks like fun! However, you can get too loosened up, that's what I am experiencing at the moment. I can't get a decent painting on paper. I think I will paint some windows for a while! ;-)
ReplyDeleteoh Judy, you made me laugh.. and Michael has an opening for someone who wants to paint windows
ReplyDeleteThe scale is made very well! And Missy is so sweet and smart ;) good sunday, Arianna!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Arianna - I had fun doing it :)
ReplyDeleteMissy is the sweetest, smartest dog around :) xx
Wonderful post, Pat!!! Love Missy's expressions in the photos.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kathryn - we've got to have our bit of fun !
ReplyDeleteMe apunto a la manera que tiene Missy de descansar jajaja.
ReplyDeleteMe ha encantado esta entrada, sabes yo soy libra ,a si es que me parece genial tu pintura.
Besazos.
Too wet for me to roll in grass now, Conchi :)
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed the painting :) xx
Missy, you're a very smart, cutie pie who knows the best way to loosen up. I'm glad to see your mom has found a way that suits her.
ReplyDelete:-)))) Funny Missy!!
ReplyDeleteCiao Pat,have a nice week my friend!
What a cute post! Missy seems to be wise as well as adorable.
ReplyDeleteOh, to be a dog and be able to just run out and roll in the grass without a care in the world (except the trial of figuring the way to get the next treat!)
ReplyDeleteMissy is wise and lovely! What a cool post, Pat! xx
ReplyDeleteThat little Missy of yours is a very intelligent "person", she really knows how to express herself without too many words!!
ReplyDeleteLove your post and the innocent look of cutie Missy.
ReplyDeleteThis was so cute and your pup is lovely. I liked the lesson here. thanks Pat for sharing with such a humorous twist. My next painting will hopefully be loose and free. God bless, ross.
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone.
ReplyDeleteShe really is the cutest little sweet-faced dog. It was our lucky day s well as hers when we picked her from the shelter.
Glad you all enjoyed the post :) xx
Well is that a face to love or what Pat... She is adorable!
