Making Waves

Sometimes I make little practice pieces - either because I have no painting in mind - or because I have a painting in mind I want to do really well on!

    They pull you in, don't they, Marie?
    I think the top one is a bit ambiguous in that although I painted a wave, it could be a misty mountain also.
    I feel the bottom one has the real power and force of the sea in it.
