from yesterday

Had a wonderful day yesterday, on my birthday.

Firstly we woke to snow!



but I was indoors and toasty warm, thanks to the fire, which Missy enjoyed too :)






Some of my presents were art books and I look forward to reading them and painting the demonstrations.

 At the top of the photo you can see some paint keys, to enable me to get the very last drop of paint from the tube. Completely necessary when you paint as much as I do :lol:

    Oh that fire looks wonderful!! Missy sure seems to be enjoying it--all stretched out in front of it. I don't blame her; I would be too!
