In this penultimate stage, washes were mixed to make various shades of light brown.
Hair, eyebrows and beard and the shut eyes all got treated in shades of brown.

See you then :)

Very good Pat.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure he'll have a stiff neck when he awakes,
does he deserve a suggestion of a pillow?
Thanks, Beryl - but no pillow! He is leaning back in a recliner chair, so he is fairly well supported :)
ReplyDeleteWhere's the chair then?
ReplyDeleteBehind those big broad shoulders where no painter can see it
ReplyDeleteIt's so nice to see your work evolve in such a way :D
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you're enjoying it xx
ReplyDeletePat, I love, love, love watching you paint. It so reminds me of peeking over my Mom's shoulder, watching her. XXOO
