Burnham and the bees.

Recently there was a huge swarm of bees that settled on my next door but one neighbour.
This swarm contained thousands of bees and was a mere 80 foot away from my lounge window.

So on advice, we stayed in until they moved on.. on the second day of them being around I was getting a little frustrated, so to take my mind off them, I painted a calm water scene. I hope you enjoy it .

Burnham.

This painting will be added to my permanent gallery site

  3. I've never seen a swarm of bees like that. I hope they've moved on. I have a swarm of wasps in the land next door to us. Every afternoon I hear their group buzzing which, to me, is annoying hearing it lol.

  7. Thanks Deb - I actually painted this calm scene to help me relax over the bees - as I am terrified of the little blighters!

  11. oh Dora - that's a conservatory - or I think you might know it as a Florida room? :)
Either way, its a sun lounge.
I've been in this neighbour's garden, and she does have a greenhouse, but nothing on that scale .
