Summer ShowStoppers 3
Now I make a mix of a mid green, using ultramarine and cadmium yellow.
With this I deepen and define the background more, to help make the flowers stand out.
I love this stage, you can really get a feel of how your painting will turn out.

Pat- that's great how you describe each step! Do you take notes as you paint?
ReplyDeleteGlad you like it, Sheryl... and no notes, the picture reminds me what I did :)
ReplyDeleteMore waiting now?
ReplyDeleteYou will have to paint along, Tonya - and then they will all fly by :)
ReplyDeleteI did find a wonderful blog that encourages you to pick up a brush and paint along. She does all kinds of beginner paintings. It is on my "Maybe Someday" list of things to try. It might help my quilt creativity.
ReplyDeleteHere it is (although the last couple of days haven't been paintings)
