Love, Actually

A little while ago I made a pencil portrait called Manifestly, Love.
It was a portrait of my friend, Lynne and her dog, Ben.

Today I show you the other half of the portrait, which features Stuart and Ben.

I'm going to frame these two pencil drawings and give them to Lynne and Stuart as their wedding present.

Eminently fitting for  Manifestly, Love and Love, Actually.

Practising portraits

Painted this chap today, practising my portraits..

none too sure about him myself.. he has a strange feel to me.. but I'll show him to you, even though I think he's not my best .. and leave you dear reader, to see.. sometimes we all have paintings we think twice about!

Drawing a man

But if we don't dare, we don't learn.
Whether this chap works as a painting or not, I will have learned something from the endeavour.
And I'll have some fun, too :)
