V: The Other Side of the River

Its the Year of Painting (YOP) time over at Painting Friends.
This time instead of showing you all the thought processes and thumbnails, I'm just going to show you the final painting.
You can make your own story up for it this way. Hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed painting it.

    So I am thinking of painting a sunny pic next!
    We're meant to have fog all day - you too, I take it?

  8. I really love that you left the upper portion of the painting water. It gives so much mystery and interest to it. And the sight of those lonely canoes at the bottome sort of gives it a melancholy feeling. It's wonderful Pat. :)
