Wimbledon - Champion!

Someone remarked to me that whilst I was watching Wimbledon tennis tournament I should paint a crowd scene.

And I thought about it, but thought, its too normal to paint a player or the crowd.. so then, what is synonymous with Wimbledon?

Strawberries and cream!

Then if I was there, eating them - and my man won, they'd be flying through the air as I leapt from my seat to cheer!

So from my wild imagination, that's how this painting came to be.
I had great fun painting this one - it really makes me smile.

Reports, tennis and attention!

In which we report that Missy had her one month check up and got excellent grades !

No regrowth of the sarcoma and the scar had healed beautifully, with only one tiny bump which may yet go.
My gorgeous Missy.

As we carry on life as usual, Wimbledon tennis makes an appearance - which is my favourite sport to watch, but which has Missy begging for attention!


It also signals the end of art club for summer break this Weds.. will my mind be free of tennis to paint? Don't hold your breath..

I don't think the postie could quite believe that Missy Elliott lives at this address, but she does, oh yes, she does!

Auntie Sharon from New Jersey sent Miss a get well parcel, with treats and toys. She even included a windchime for mummy, bless her.
Auntie Ineke and Uncle Sandor sent a card with best wishes from "Of The Hunters Pride"

This picture shows Missy's scar and how nicely its healing. And is Missy bothered? Oh no, there's a tennis ball to be played with!
